28-peso Macarons at Tous Les Jours

During a recent visit to Eastwood City in Libis, we chanced upon a Tous Les Jours bakery there, just across the street from the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel's driveway. After hearing so much about it since they opened their first store in the Philippines in late-2011, we decided to give it a try.

I've been wanting to try their French Macarons--at P28 each, they're much cheaper than the other ones I've tried before, such as Chez Karine in Serendra at P50 each. They're even cheaper than the ones at French Baker--a local chain--who sells their Macarons at P32 each.

A look inside the store. The place gradually became filled with customers soon after this photo was taken.

Their cakes come in different unique shapes or designs. They're pretty reasonably priced too!

Their beverage menu seems decent.

They also have a selection of baked goodies for the kids.

Of course, we helped ourselves to a dozen of their 28-peso Macarons. They actually only have just five variants--green tea, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and mango--which isn't much, really, considering other bakeries such as Chez Karine have much more to offer. I guess their main selling point for their Macarons is really their price, and I think Tous Les Jours is pretty happy with that.

A dozen of their Macarons. At P28 each, this bag cost us P336.

If you like your Macarons chewy, then you might want to visit Tous Les Jours. Their Macarons are the chewiest out of all the ones I've tried, and they hold well together that you wouldn't have to worry about them crumbling apart as you take a bite. They also do not lack in flavor--every bite guarantees a flavorful burst that'll make you want more. The green tea variant would have to be my favorite.

Trying out their Strawberry Macarons.

Tous Les Jours' Macarons are the chewiest among those that I've tried so far.

Their green tea variant is delicious!

  1. I love their breads and cakes! Too bad service at their SM Megamall sucks.
