It was a pretty tough battle. After two months, 100+ teams and entries, and several elimination rounds, the winners of the first ever Unilever Brandtastic Competition were finally chosen last Friday, November 16, during an intense final round among eight teams from four different schools (University of the Philippines, Ateneo De Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Asia and the Pacific), held at The Den at the Marriott Hotel in Resorts World Manila.
The winners were announced at the after-party held at the Opus Restaurant and Lounge, and out of eight competing teams, only three teams had to be named as winners. These teams are:
Champion--Team By Design (University of the Philippines)
2nd place--Team Synergy (De La Salle University)
3rd place--Team Berlake (Ateneo de Manila University)
The winning team gets to go home with P100,000, have their proposed campaign implemented, and get a chance to compete at the global round to be held next year. The 2nd and 3rd placers get to go home with P50,000 and P30,000, respectively.
