Woman Throws a Fit on Tiger Airways Flight

So here's what happened: A woman on board a Tiger Airways flight from Ho Chi Minh to Singapore allegedly assaulted two men after one of them hit the back of her seat as he was stretching his legs.

The victims were identified as 37-year old Yeo Chia Keat, a project executive who was on board with his wife, and 37 year-old Chua Teck Kwang, a technician who was with his family at the time. The woman, meanwhile, who was traveling with her mother, remained unidentified.

This all began during the flight when Yeo accidentally hit the back of the seat in front of him, which angered the daughter of the Vietnamese woman seated in front of him. The woman then began "shifting her seat up and down repeatedly" for the rest of the flight, but the couple chose to ignore her.

Upon landing at Singapore, Yeo told the upset daughter that they could choose to file a police report, but this angered the woman even more. When the woman tried to hit Yeo's head with her hand-carried luggage, Chua tried to stop her but ended up being assaulted instead. According to Chua, the woman scratched her arm and face with her sharp nails.

As the other passengers began disembarking, the woman began hurling insults or words of abuse at Chua, while his wife took a video with her mobile phone. Chua was then attacked again by the woman, by pushing his chest. Another woman tried to intervene but was also hit.

After getting off the plane, the woman's screams attracted the attention of airport security, and then woman claimed that Yeo and Chua hit her mother. The woman also unbuttoned her blouse and told airport policemen that she had been molested. Policemen later arrived to intervene and facilitate negotiations between the parties involved.

Chua later sought treatment at a local hospital for his injuries.
