Two New Airbus A380 Operators for 2012



Two airlines from Southeast Asia are expected to be the latest operators of the Airbus A380-800 Superjumbo, the world's largest and one of the most technologically-advanced aircraft. 

Malaysia Airlines is expected to use their newest plane initially to London-Heathrow bu July 1, and eventually expand to Sydney by September, while Thai Airways is expected to launch the A380 by September, with the first flight headed to Frankfurt, Germany. 

Both airlines will join the ranks of 7 other airlines (such as Emirates, Air France, Singapore Airlines) who currently use the Airbus A380 on their premium destinations in different cities around the world.
